Your Corrupt Registry Fix
If you’re worried that your pc needs a corrupt registry fix, then you’ve already gotten some error messages or a hint from someone who has been there before. Something is going wrong for you and your pc!
Most people don’t wake up one morning and say, “Gee, my registry is corrupt. I’ll fix it today, I think.”
You may have missed the early warning signs of a corrupt registry because corruption was a gradual, subtle process. (Unless it was malware, then it was FAST, even instant.) First, your pc slowed down. Then you started getting error popups. Then you saw blue or black screen freezes, and maybe complete system crashes.
Stop the Corruption of Your Registry Today.
Now you dread booting up your pc because you never know if your system is going to start up successfully. Or if it will seize while you are working. Losing work in a crash is the worst feeling.
Or I guess having to do your work all over again is even worse!
When your corrupt registry starts making your life miserable, you’ve got four choices:
1. Restore -
If you haven’t turned off the creation of restore snapshots in an attempt to optimize your system speed, your Windows platform has routinely created backups of your OS. That’s good when you want a corrupt registry fix. Back up any work files that are needed, or any programs you’ve installed recently. Then pick a date that is before your regisry problems started, and use the snapshot to return your OS to that condition. This is the first thing computer technicians do when you’ve got malware or registry problems.
2. Reinstall -
This is pretty drastic, but you can get your corrupt registry fix by reinstalling the entire Windows platform. You’ll need to backup everything besides Windows and there is some major hassle in resetting your OS to the settings and arrangements you like. But a reinstall does give you a clean registry.
3. Manual Repair -
The Windows registry is not something every computer user should access. The reason Microsoft created the registry was to keep regular, non-techies out of those core system function files. It takes a specialized knowledge to do a corrupt registry fix manually. But it can be done. By Computer Science PhDs, I guess. There are some instructions on the ‘Net, but it is highly risky and I don’t advise it. If you delete something you need, you’ll end up losing your data and reinstalling the OS. Most computer repair shops don’t even do manual repair. They use #4. Heck, my computer repair tech SELLS #4.
4. Software-Based Automatic Repair -
If your registry isn’t too far gone (if you can still turn your pc on!), your best bet is to use software designed to do corrupt registry fix. You can get “free” programs floating around out there, but it is usually riddled with adware. At best. Or you can get a paid registry cleaner software that comes with money back guarantee, customer support and a reputation to protect.
Registry cleaners are a great corrupt registry fix. They are fast and easy to use. Designed for computer users – not computer programmers! – the download takes just a couple minutes. You can get a scan of your registry for free to find out if the software can fix your specific errors.
Since 1995 when Windows started using the registry, registry cleaner software has been created and refined to handle this sensitive aspect of the Windows platforms. Now registry cleaning software is so necessary to long term function of most pcs that it is as common as anti-virus. It is a vital tool to have in your possession for emergency fixes and for monthly maintenance.
